Privacy Policy
Movie Night Club is a small, personal website used by one host to organize recurring movie-night get-togethers for a group of friends and family. It isn't a commercial product and isn't open for anyone to sign up for on their own -- if your information is in this system, it's because the host added you as a guest for a party you were invited to, or you entered it yourself while responding to an invite.
What we collect
For each guest, we may keep:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Dietary restrictions
- RSVP responses (yes / no / maybe, plus-ones, notes) for each party
- Potluck items you've signed up to bring
This information is entered either by the host, on your behalf, or by you directly when you open an RSVP link for a party.
How we use it
- To send you party invites and reminders by email and/or text message
- To track who's coming and plan food, seating, and logistics around dietary needs
- To run the potluck-style signup list so items aren't double-claimed

Who we share it with
We don't sell or share your information with advertisers or other third parties. The app runs on Microsoft Azure, which stores the data (Azure Cosmos DB) and delivers email/SMS on our behalf (Azure Communication Services) -- they process it only to provide those services to us, not for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep a running history of past parties and RSVPs so the host can look back on who came to what. If you'd like your information removed, contact us using the address below and we'll take care of it.
